‘These Machines Haven’t Finished’ is a film about Coventry born electronic music pioneer, Delia Derbyshire and ‘Deliaphonic’, the event that she inspired.

Last year The Tin Music and Arts, Synthcurious and Martin Leape curated an event at Coventry’s new Cathedral to celebrate what would have been Delia Derbyshire’s 80th birthday. This documentary explores Delia’s techniques, her history and why she has inspired generations of electronic music.

A big thank you to the hundreds of people who came along yesterday, and for all of the really positive comments and feedback on social media. We really enjoyed the day, and are already discussing our next event.

Synthcurious vs CET

A reminder that it is our rescheduled Live Sound Installation at CET in Coventry tomorrow. The Synthcurious curators will be joined by local musician Tim Seeley for what promises to be a truly unique sonic experience.

The performance will start at 12 noon with a 440Hz tone. After that, anything is possible, as the event will involve live modular patching and synth programming.
